SUMMARY:Growing Uptown - April Workshop
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION REQUIRED\, PLEASE ONLY REGISTER ONE PERSON PER GROW KIT FOR THE APRIL WORKSHOP. \nRegister for Growing Uptown\, a FREE 6 month farm to table gardening program at the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum! \nParticipants in the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum’s Growing Uptown program will be sent home with a “grow kit” enabling them to grow their own food in their apartments. Workshops take place monthly from April – September. Workshop themes range from transplanting seedlings\, to make a sugar based body scrub\, to cooking a recipe with the ingredients from your grow kit! Participants attend one of four workshop time slots each month. Registration for each workshop time slot will open closer to the date of the event.  \nApril Workshop: 4/13 at 5 PM\, 4/13 at 6 PM\, 4/15 at 4 PM\, 4/15 at 5 PM \nJoin us for the first workshop in our Growing Uptown program! In this hands-on workshop\, participants will receive a grow bag\, compost\, seeds\, and a mini greenhouse. This one-hour workshop will teach participants about the growth process and how to grow from seeds. Wear comfy clothes and expect to get your hands dirty! \n¡Regístrate en Resilencia Verde\, un programa del huerto a la mesa GRATUITO de seis meses en el Museo Dyckman Farmhouse Museum! \nLos participantes del programa Resilencia Verde del Museo Dyckman Farmhouse serán enviados a casa con un “Juego de Cultivo” que les permitirá cultivar sus propios alimentos en sus apartamentos.  Los talleres tendrán lugar mensualmente de abril a septiembre. Los temas de los talleres van desde transplantar brotes\, hacer un exfoliante para el cuerpo a base de azúcar\, ¡hasta preparar una receta con los ingredientes de tu juego de cultivo!  Los participantes asistirán a uno de los cuatro talleres que se ofrecerán cada mes. La inscripción para cada módulo se abrirá cerca a la fecha del evento. \nTalleres de Abril:\n4/13 a las 5PM y a las 6PM\n4/15 a las 4PM y a las 5PM \n¡Únete al primer taller de nuestro programa Resilencia Verde!
