About Camp Dyckman
Since 2016, the Dyckman Farmhouse Museum has hosted a week long summer camp for Upper Manhattan youth, providing exposure to outdoor learning, science education, and the arts. The Camp provides bilingual instruction and a pay-as-you-wish tuition to allow as many children to have access to quality, educational, programing as possible!
Past activities include:
- Workshops exploring garden-to-table foodways, a topic that connects to the museum’s farming heritage
- Yoga, breathing exercises, and movement to bring calmness and space to reflect
- A take home Grow Kit to start and sustain a mini herb garden which they can share with their families and continue to explore what they learned at camp
